Even if you drown your XP 1000, our EZ-STEER power steering kit will survive (the rest of your rig might be a different story). That’s because we use a watertight control box and shafts. And that waterproof seal also prevents dirt and sand from finding their way in, ruining your power steering over time. We built this kit to have everything you need to get it installed ASAP, all without any soldering!

We lab- and field-tested this kit under the harshest, most unforgiving conditions possible to make sure we delivered the best EPS kit on the market! Our lab technicians did everything they could to destroy this Series 6 power steering kit. They used heat, pressure, and any kind of distress they could think of to push it to the limit. Then we hooked it up to our own XP 1000 and let our most wild buddies take ‘er out for a spin. They buried it in mud, dragged it through the creek, and climbed slippery cliffs to see if they could defeat our power steering kit. Through all that, this power steering kit didn’t overheat or overtax the battery!
UTV Direct Return Policy
Eligible items may be returned within 30 days of receiving your order. All returns must be submitted through the UTV Returns Center and are subject to inspection before a refund or exchange is processed.
- Items must be returned within 30 days of receiving them.
- Items must be returned in new, undamaged, uninstalled condition and in the original packaging.
- Windshields with the protective covering removed are not returnable.
- Special-order and custom items are non-returnable.
- Return shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer unless UTV Direct shipped the incorrect item in error.
- Exchanges will not be shipped until the return has been received and inspected.
- The original shipping cost may be deducted from any returned order that received free or shared shipping when the order was placed.
- Returned items that do not meet return requirements may be denied a refund or exchange.

Refund timing may vary. You should generally expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, although many refunds are completed more quickly. This time period includes return transit time, inspection/processing time, and bank/payment processing time.
