KFI snow plow kit for Can-Am Defender

Build a complete KFI Pro 2.0 plow system for your Defender. Match your year, engine/body style and factory trim in the Plow Builder. The matching mount and any required leveling parts are included automatically. Choose a 60-, 66- or 72-inch steel or poly blade, keep your compatible installed winch or add an Assault winch package.

For the exact factory models listed in the builder. This kit covers selected 2016–2027 Defender, MAX, PRO, 6x6, HD11 and XU applications. A shared engine badge does not establish fitment across different trims or chassis generations. Unlisted years, aftermarket bumpers, larger tires, lifts, forward A-arms and tracks require fitment confirmation.

What comes in the base kit?

• KFI Pro 2.0 square UTV push tubes — 106300.
• The plow mount matched to your vehicle: 105780 or the selected G2 standard/Swift-Latch package.
• Your selected steel or poly blade. The starting price includes the 60-inch steel blade.
• Required leveling kit 106322 on the KFI-listed high-clearance original-chassis trims. It is supplied once and priced with those vehicle packages.
• With a G2 Swift-Latch choice, mount 106740 and your selected 106345 or 106630 adapter are both included.

A winch is required to lift the plow. Use an installed, working winch suitable for plowing, or add an Assault AM-35 3500 lb steel-cable, AS-35 3500 lb synthetic-rope, AS-50X 5000 lb standard synthetic-rope or AS-50WX 5000 lb wide synthetic-rope winch. Every added package includes its selected winch mount: 101905 for earlier/standard-chassis models or upper mount 102330 for G2 models. The 102330 package requires the original factory bumper. A standard-width winch needs one bumper hole drilled with that mount; the wide winch does not. Replacement winches use KFI controls and wiring. Installation-specific wire extensions and factory-winch fairlead conversions are extra.

Choose your mounting system

Original Defender chassis: the builder selects traditional mount 105780 and includes required leveling where KFI specifies it. HD5/HD8 and HD7/HD9 year ranges are separated so a newer engine is not offered for an earlier model year.

HD11 and listed G2 XU trims: choose the standard seasonal mount 106750, or a Swift-Latch package using 106740. The standard mount includes its seasonal drop bracket. A Swift-Latch package includes its adapter and requires confirming the actual bar height before ordering. The 106740 mount used as a traditional pin mount would require a different leveling setup; that separate configuration is not offered here.

Vehicle fitment, grouped by mount

Open a mount family to review the years, models and factory trim groups. Combined trim names reproduce KFI’s listed groups; they do not imply every engine/trim combination was sold in every year. The builder records your selected vehicle and chooses the matching parts.

For the listed original-chassis Defender, MAX, PRO, 6x6 and standard XU applications. The 106322 leveling kit is included automatically for the high-clearance trims marked below.

For the listed 2026 HD11 and 2027 G2 XU trims. The two-piece mount provides its own drop for stock machines; it does not automatically need the extra 1–2-inch leveling kit. The lower seasonal bracket reduces ground clearance by about 4 inches and can be removed off season by undoing five bolts.

Includes mount 106740 plus the correct Swift-Latch adapter. Measure the center of the installed KFI bar to the ground: 106345 covers 13–15 inches; 106630 covers 16–18 inches. The adapter is included in the package price. A Swift-Latch adapter cannot be combined with a leveling kit. Modified machines require fitment confirmation.

Choose your blade

Measure the outside width of your tires and allow for the reduced clearing width when the blade is angled. A 60-inch blade may not clear your tire tracks. Steel blades have a 16-inch face; poly blades have a 21-inch face and include markers. Compare dimensions in the builder and confirm a manageable blade and snow load for your machine.

Optional upgrades

• Plow strap: a dedicated lift strap for repeated plow use.
• Blade markers: optional for steel blades; already included with poly blades.
• Power-angle actuator: changes blade angle from the cab. A winch still raises and lowers the blade.
• 1–2-inch leveling kit 106322: optional for compatible square push-tube setups with small lifts or oversized tires. Required kits are included automatically. It is unavailable with Swift-Latch packages.
• Side shields: select the version matched to your blade material.

Common questions

No, if your installed winch is working and suitable for plowing. The default keeps your existing winch. Confirm its cable/rope condition, routing, fairlead and any auto-stop requirements using its installation instructions.

No. KFI requires 106322 for specific high-clearance original-chassis applications, and the builder includes it automatically. The G2 standard 106750 mount provides its own stock-height drop. Swift-Latch packages use their matched adapter and cannot use the extra leveling kit. Modified setups still need a fitment review.

Measure from the center of the installed KFI 106740 bar to the ground. Choose 106345 for 13–15 inches or 106630 for 16–18 inches. Do not choose from engine size or tire size alone. Contact us if your measurement is outside those ranges.

Choose enough width to clear your tire tracks at your working angle while keeping the blade weight and snow load manageable for your vehicle. Wheel offset, oversized tires and tracks change the required clearing width.
